Some FAQ’S

Is Sandstone hard to maintain?

This is something everyone asks, no, it is slightly more work than harder man made products such as porcelain. However simple tasks such as regular sweeping, and washing down can keep the product looking like new without too much work.

Will sandstone fade over time?

Sandstone is a natural stone, so its colour will not “fade” in the way manufactured materials can. However, over time you may notice slight changes in tone due to natural weathering, sunlight, and general outdoor exposure.

How long does sandstone last?

When properly installed and maintained, sandstone paving can last 20–30 years or more. Its natural durability allows it to withstand weather, foot traffic, and temperature changes. Regular cleaning and occasional sealing will help protect the stone and extend its lifespan, keeping it looking good for many years.

Can we mix it up?

Yes of course, many clients use a mix of different sizes and colours. Mixing the grey paving with a black edging for example is very effective
